Well, in the last few days I have seen the river climb out of its bed and over the road, submerge the poor daffodils to their poor heads and make other plants hold their breaths for over a week!
On my rambles, I have seen Greater Celandine, clusters of Daisies and the welcome return of Hawthorn. The fresh green leaves can be an addition to the salad bowl and can also be made into a tincture to support the cardio-vascular system. The Elder is beginning to wake from its winter snooze and all sorts of other goodies will soon emerge. Don't forget to go rambling yourself, the sun is warmer now, a delight to the senses and herb life is taking an upward turn! Enjoy!
