Thank you to all those who joined us for a Herb & Art Retreat in France with us this October.

We had a truly amazing time. R&R was the aim and we did it in style.
The house is spacious and has a very warm and comforting ambience, ideal for 'getting away from it all'. It is set in the heart of the French countryside surrounded by woods, fields, lakes and animals (wild and tame) and is a true 'back to nature' experience. The pace is slow and the air fresh and clean. Very little traffic and no light pollution. We made new friends and met up with old ones.
Anyone who thought they could not express themselves creatively through art, produced the most beautiful works. This time we had, was all about finding peace and calm, to re evaluate and make use of the host of wonderful things around us and find comfort in the space that is there if we only stop rushing around and look.
The walk to identify plants and then Herbal Balms were made and herb lore re discovered and shared.
The treatments allowed the chance for total relaxation and pampering.
The Art workshop was equally successful! All started feeling very apprehensive about the prospect of painting, but the results were truly amazing.
Those that arrived looking pale and drawn returned home with colour in their cheeks, a spring in their step and a new enthusiasm for life.
